BMW style masters, AC Schnitzer, have reacted hastily to the recent BMW 6 Series facelift with some newfangled tuning goodies of their own.
The Aachen based third party BMW tuning specialist gave their head designer Michele Viandante free reign with regards to a styling component redesign for the 6 Series.
Already featuring formidable road presence and forbidding rear-view mirror intent with the characteristic shark nose front treatment, styling has been sharpened up. A new front skirt, which is augmented by new side skirts along the flanks, are key parts of the styling package.
Rear styling is neatened up by means of a new spoiler and integrated brake lights. The new rear skirt is interrupted with the chromed end-treatment sports exhaust system in stainless steel.
No AC Schnitzer styling package would be complete without a bespoke set of alloy wheels. Schnitzer obliges with their aggressively styled Type VI range wheels in 20-inch guise for the new 6-series.
Beyond the styling upgrades AC Schnitzer have tweaked both the 635d and 650i engines too.
The turbodiesel sees a power hike from 210kW and 580Nm to 228kW and 680Nm, whilst the V8 petrol engine broaches the magic 300kW barrier, increasing its output from 270kW to 302kW.
