Lorinser puts the style back in SL

Are you repulsed by the new SL range front styling

Are you repulsed by the new SL range front styling? Well Swabian tuner Lorinser has a solution in the form of its bespoke SL styling kit which looks infinitely better than the standard car.

German aftermarket tuners have been trying valiantly to rescue the SL brand from Merc’s recent facelift disaster.

Once a byword for elegance, the latest SL might be technologically redoubtable, but the restyled front view hinges on some hideous detailing cues.

Attempting to rectify this without exacerbating the situation Lorinser have added a new front bumper with an integrated spoiler slotted in underneath a revised performance grill.

Further improving both styling proportions and airflow management is an integrated end-to-end lip, which flows seamlessly into the widely flared Lorinser fender. Featuring new side skirts characterised by large air openings the side profile fuses the aggression and elegance.

No self respecting German aftermarket auto tuner would dare showcase a new conversion without a set of outrageous wheel and tyre combinations and Lorinser is no different. The RS 9 five-spoke alloy wheels with their sculptured spokes add a lot of presence to the Lorinser SL side-view.

SL drivers seeking more spirited performance can look forward to a host of engine upgrades from Lorinser soon.
