Crash: Joyride couple rolls 5 times

Let this video be a reminder to all road users - always wear a seat belt. A couple's joyride ends in disaster after crashing their Polaris RZR 900 ATV in the woods. The off-road vehicle rolls five times before coming to a halt!

A couple took their Polaris RZR 900 for a spin and reached speeds up to 112 km/h. Their joyride was cut short when the vehicle stuck a ditch causing the vehicle to roll five times.

Video: Couple crashes and rolls their RZR 900 buggy

In the video uploaded to YouTube, you can watch as the couple embark on an off-road trip before hitting a ditch. The vehicle rolled multiple times.

Fortunately they were both wearing seat belts and nobody was injured.

'HE APOLOGISED FOR THE THIGH GRAB'

The exterior was wrecked in the crash though the frame and roll-cage appeared to be in good condition. If you’re riding an off-road buggy ensure seat belts/harnesses are tightened.

In the video you’ll notice how the female passenger bounces around much more than the male driver.

Heather Cruse, the female passenger in the video, commented on YouTube answering some pressing questions such as did the pair suffer any serious injuries and why the driver grabbed her leg mid-crash…

Cruse said: “Hi I'm the girl in this video. All the traffic this is getting is hilarious and confusing to me, and these comments are gold. It was a very fun weekend. I wanted to say a few things:
1 Yes, I found my glasses.
2 No, I didn't lose my gum.
3 Tyler (the driver) is a nice guy and a gentleman who apologised profusely for the thigh-grab and whose first instinct was to get me out of the RZR.
4 No serious injuries. Just some aches and bruises. We water-skied the next day.
5 No concussion or memory loss, but my aunt who is an EMT told us after watching this that the added weight of the helmets probably would have snapped our necks. In a perfect situation, wearing a helmet would have been a good decision.
6 We are 18 and 20 years old. We did something stupid and will probably continue to do stupid things well into our adulthood.

“Thanks for watching! My neck doesn't hurt anymore.”
