Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond have teased South African fans with promotional videos ahead of their motoring tour in Johannesburg in June 2015.

One clip has the motoring trio joking about what to call the show with May suggesting it be called "James May and special guests".

This follows Clarkson's famous dismissal from Top Gear after he punched producer Oisin Tymon in what was referred to by the BBC as "a fracas". May and Hammond left the show soon after.

CRAZY STUNTS

Fans can expect funny one-liners, awesome cars and crazy stunts - one teaser clip shows Clarkson drop "May's piano" from a crane on to a car!

According to organisers: "The presenters are here with the ‘Clarkson, Hammond and May Live’ and ready to electrify audiences in South Africa as they get #BackOnTheRoad.

"The motoring mayhem will start at The Dome in Johannesburg over on June 12-14 so the presenters offer a couple of behind-the-scenes preview videos showing them preparing for the tour in a uniquely Clarkson, Hammond and May way."

HOONIGAN KEN BLOCK IN ACTION

Rally/stunt driving phenomenon and YouTube sensation Ken Block will join the former Top Gear crew at The Dome in Johannesburg.

Block will perform gymkhana stunts in his famous 630kW, modified all-wheel-drive 1965 ‘notchback' Ford Mustang Hoonicorn over the weekend of June 12/14.

It will be Block’s first time in South Africa and the only event in Africa on the ex-'Top Gear' crew's tour.

SPECIAL MESSAGE TO SA FANS

Ahead of the June show, the trio posted a special tongue-in-cheek message to South African fans.

In the video, Clarkson said: "Hello, I used to be Jeremy Clarkson and I have news. Us three (referencing May and Hammond) are about to embark on an all-new live action uni-tour."

The motoring presenters discussed potential names for the upcoming show...

May: "I thought it could be 'James May and special guests'."

Hammond: "I prefer an 'evening with Richard Hammond."

Clarkson: "How about Clarkson, Hammond and May and Ken Block and his Hoonicorn live?"
