Car sales decelerating in Europe

MILAN, Italy - European automakers saw car sales rise for the 15th consecutive month in November 2014, though more slowly than previous recent months.

Analysts say that's a reflection of the region's fragile economic situation.

SPAIN STRONGEST

European automaker association Acea said on December 16 2014 that car sales in November rose 1.4% to 953 886. The strongest growth, 17%, was in Spain.

That was the slowest overall growth rate of 2014 when compared with gains of more than six percent in the previous two months.
