The next M3 seems to be quite the muscle car as it has much larger fender flares than the normal 3 Series, as well as having quad tail pipes.
Although our photos are of the M3 Coupe, there will also be a four-door version.
There is also no doubt that the next M3, will be the hottest 3 Series yet. It will come with a new lightweight V8 producing about 295 kW using the latest dual-VANOS variable valve timing system and BMW's SMG transmission will be standard. .
Insiders say that BMW is implementing new engine build technology to keep the weight of the power train on par with that of the E46 M3.
BMW is mum about when the M3 is due to hit the road and it could either break cover at the Paris Motor Show in September or at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2007.
