NEW DELHI, India - The first Harley-Davidson motorcycle to be assembled outside the US has been launched at the 2014 Delhi auto show and it's on its way to South Africa.
The V-twin Street 750 will make its SA debut in early 2015 though pricing is yet to be confirmed.
'NEW SEGMENT'
The Street 750 will cost the equivalent of R72 600 in India and this the least-expensive Harley yet will be assembled in the city of Bawana in northern India for local and export.
Anoop Prakash, managing director of Harley-Davidson India, said: "We believe the new Street 750 will excite a new segment of urban riders in India who will appreciate the opportunity to experience the Harley-Davidson lifestyle at an accessible price."
