The video was captured using six GoPro cameras inside the car, as well as drone and front bumper cameras. This was then meticulously edited to ensure a seamless panorama.
Professional driver Paul Swift drove the Mustang on the 2.5km lap of the National Circuit at Silverstone, home to the British Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Viewers start the action by clicking on the car’s iconic pony symbol, and start button. The camera is adjusted using the arrow keys, track pad, or mouse. Clicking on a helicopter icon displays the aerial view, clicking the Mustang’s fascia displays the view from the grille.
MUSTANG FOR SA
The new right-hand drive Mustang will arrive in South Africa in December. The Mustang is available with Ford’s five-litre V8 320kW/530Nm engine or the 2.3-litre EcoBoost capable of 228kW/432Nm.
The V8 fastback, equipped with a six-speed manual and launch control, is capable of reaching 100km in 4.8sec – faster than any Ford coupe in Europe since the limited Ford GT supercar launched in 2005.
Please note: *360° functionality is not supported by all Internet browsers and operating systems, and performance is dependent on a strong Internet connection. If your computer or mobile device does not support the video watch it on YouTube
