All-new Corsa for July

It will be the fourth generation of this popular small hatch and it will share its design cues with the Astra. As before it will be available in three and five-door guise.

Naturally the car will also grow in size and it will increase by 14cm in length, while it will sit on a longer wheelbase too.

The new Corsa also shares its underpinnings with the Fiat Grande Punto.

Under the bonnet will be 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol engines, while the diesel range will include Fiat-sourced 1.3 and 1.9-litre units.

According to General Motors South Africa there is no indication when the new generation Corsa will arrive here as the South African models are based on the Brazilian version.
