A Dark Knight Rises - Juke Nismo

LONDON, England - To celebrate Nissan’s partnership with movie moguls Warner and the release of the third film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy on DVD and Blu-Ray, Nissan has produced a unique car as a hat-tip to Gotham’s caped crusader.

The special Juke, called The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo, has a host of Batman-inspired details to make the lucky owner the envy of every movie fan and petrol head.

CRIMINALS BEWARE

The model, based on the new Juke Nismo, which goes on sale in January 2013, The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo is powered by a 175kW 1.6 turbo mated to a a six-speed manual. The special edition has a Nissan motorsport body kit, enhanced suspension and interior.

The model is painted in matt black reminiscent of Batman’s Tumbler, while a shark fin antenna replaces the standard model’s aerial. The Juke Nismo has black 18" alloy rims with red detailing.

In addition to Nismo badging, there are aluminium Bat badges on the grille and rear as well as pinstripes on the bumpers and sills.

LOOK! UP THERE! IT’S THE BAT SIGNAL

The interior has Bat logos and badges on the head restraints, doors and Nismo sports seats. Thanks to lights mounted under the external mirrors the famous Bat signal can be projected onto the floor area around the doors.

The Bat signal can also be projected on the roof lining.

The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo is the work of Nissan’s very own Batcave, Nissan Design Europe, responsible for the design of the original Juke.

The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo will not go on sale in a Nissan dealership, neitherwill it be made available to the highest bidder – instead the only way to get this car on your driveway is to enter a special competition.

The competition runs until February 28 2013 with the winner announced in March 2013 but only in the UK.
