SPIELBERG, Austria - Williams' Valtteri Bottas turned in the fastest time during the third and final practice session ahead of the 2014 Austrian GP, beating Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton leaving championship leading Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg in fifth.

Bottas posted a fast final lap to turn in a best time of 1min 09.848 seconds, besting Hamilton by 0.050sec.

Williams team mate Felipe Massa was third and Torro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat in fourth ahead of Rosberg, who was 0.151 off the pace, as six tenths of a second covered the top eight drivers.

Force India's Sergio Perez went wide off of the track and saw his car briefly go airborne on Saturday (June 21 2014) before recovering.

Hamilton had been comfortably quicker than Rosberg in free practice on Friday (June 20 2014), when the two Mercedes were the only cars to lap in under one minute 10 seconds. Hamilton is 22 points behind Rosberg after seven races.

Hamilton has won four races to Rosberg's two so far this season, but has also suffered two costly retirements.
