Renault adds automatic version to budget Kwid range

Cape Town - Renault has extended its Kwid range with the introduction of the automatic model alongside the current Expression and Dynamique manual models. 

The automatic version is priced at R146 900 and is powered by a 1.0- litre 3-cylinder engine with a claimed 50kW and 91Nm of torque. 

The French automaker claims the Kwid will use 4.4 litres/100km with the new shelf-shifter transmission. 

The Kwid is available with features like an 18cm touchscreen system that houses a navigation and multi-media system.

It has cool functions like Bluetooth audio streaming and hands-free phone access, USB & AUX-input ports, and speed sensing volume control.
