Porsche: 'Brake squealing is rarely a sign of trouble'

Germany - The biggest part of owning a vehicle is keeping the car in tip top condition.

That would mean paying attention to each and every sound, wobble or vibration with an astute ear. 

One of the most misunderstood sounds of cars is that of break squealing. 

Is brake squealing misunderstood? 

Porsche said: "Brake squealing or squeaking is rarely a sign of trouble. Porsche engineers explain why there is a propensity for brake squeal. Though this is typical of high performance brakes, the automaker strives to minimize unwanted brake noise."
