Rosslyn - Nissan South Africa has revealed its new Nissan 370Z, which builds on the iconic Z-car legacy that began in the sixties.
The Nissan 370Z MY18 is on sale now at R661 900 for the manual transmission and R680 900 for the auto variant.
High-performance clutch
Upgrades include chromed door-releases and black rear bumper. Dark-tinted headlights and rear-combination lights – previously only available on the Nismo version – are now standard.
Powering the coupe is a 3.7-litre 245kW V6, driving power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic.
The updated 370Z comes with distinctive 19" alloys and a new red metallic exterior body colour is also available.
Nissan has partnered with performance brand Exedy to integrate a new high-performance clutch into manual versions. The automaker says the downshift reduces driver pedal effort.
Standard kit
The Nissan’s premium infotainment system, featuring a seven-inch touch-screen, satellite navigation, DVD player and rear-view camera, is standard.
Nissan says the 370Z remains the only car in the segment to offer Syncro Rev Control – the world's first fully synchronised down/up shift rev control system on a manual transmission.
The 370Z comes standard with a three-year or 90 000km service plan and six-year or 150 000km warranty.
