The Levante's chassis, Maserati says, is designed to combine "outstanding on-road performance that is typical of every Maserati with unrivalled handling, even on very low-grip surfaces as well as excellent off-road performance and ride."

It terms of engine it sports both petrol and diesel options. The SUV is equipped with electronic suspension setting with controlled damping and air springs with variable settings, “Q4” intelligent all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto specially calibrated for Maserati's first SUV.
