Cape Town - We already know BMW is using 3D technology in the production of its new 5 Series, and now we can confirm that the first images of the new G30 model have surfaced... albeit leaked on a German car forum.
In terms of design, it appears to be a fusion of the 3 Series and 7 Series.
The exterior definitely has a sleeker design compared to the outgoing model with a lot more creases.
Overall however it retains much of the current 5 Series' design.

The interior is more driver-focused and spy shots reveal a myriad of buttons and possibly adopting the systems and layout used in the current 7 Series.
Engines? According to Autocar, the new Five will use forced induction four and six-cylinder engines. There is talk of a plug-in petrol-electric engine joining the range.
BMW SA confirmed that more details of the G30 model will be released this week.
