• New E-Pace SUV
• Joins F-Pace and I-Pace concept
• World premiere July 13
Pretoria - Earlier in June, Wheels24 reported that Jaguar would expand its SUV line-up with the addition of its new E-Pace.
The automaker says the new SUV is smaller than its highly-successful F-Pace sibling. Since its announcement, local petrolheads have asked whether the new E-Pace would be available locally.
Jaguar South Africa has confirmed to Wheels24 that the baby SUV will be available in 2018.
Debuts in July
The E-Pace will make its world debut on July 13 and joins the stable alongside the F-Pace and the all-electric I-Pace concept (headed for production in 2018).
What do we know about the E-Pace? Well it will be all-wheel drive and feature familiar Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. Expect a suite of connected technology and safety features.
According to Ian Callum, Jaguar's director of design, the 'E-Pace combines sports car looks with Jaguar performance.'
