Pretoria – The new Jaguar F-Type SVR will make its global debut at the Geneva auto show and is set to go on sale in the second half of 2016.
The new sports car is the first SVR-badged Jaguar. It's capable of reaching 320km/h due to its 5.0-litre V8, the same engine used in the Project 7, and alluminium body.
'Everyday supercar'
John Edwards, managing director Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, said: "The new F-Type SVR is the first series production Jaguar to be developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from everything we know about precision engineering, performance and design.
"The result is a 320km/h supercar that you can drive every day – and it will absolutely sound the part, thanks to a new titanium exhaust system."
