Headed for South Africa: New Land Rover Discovery revealed

Pretoria - Following weeks of teaser images Land Rover has finally revealed details and images of its next-gen Discovery 5.

The Disco 5 continues with its predecessor’s three-row, seven-seat layout, with off-road capability and versatility.

Limited run

The fifth-generation model benefits from Land Rover’s strong, safe and light full-size SUV architecture, for "better comfort and adaptability than previous models", says Land Rover.

The automaker's new 4x4 will go on sale in South Africa from mid-2017.

All three rows are fitted with heated seats, while massage seats are available for the driver and front passenger.

The new SUV is fitted with iOS and Android connectivity combined with a 14-speaker Meridian digital surround system, with an additional subwoofer, and 3G WiFi provide the audio experience.
