Anglesey, Wales - In early March 2017, Porsche unveiled an updated version of its 911 GT3. The big news for purists is that it's now available with a a six-speed manual gearbox, the same one used in the 911 R.
318km/h top speed
This new GT3 also uses 4.0-litre engine producing 368kW at a dizzying 8600r/min. It boasts a top speed of 318km/h (manual) and scampers to 100km/h in 3.9 seconds.
Porsche has given the updated GT3 new aerodynamic treatments including a new rear diffuse, a new front spoiler and a carbon fibre rear wing. A locking rear-differential, and dynamic engine mounts also come as standard.
This video is dedicated to the intoxicating noise from its six-cylinder engine, so we'll say no more and let you indulge in the violence of the high-revving unit.
