Land Rover has released a first glimpse of its new Range Rover Evoque, previewing a striking new headlights design - bit like a wildcat's eyes.
The previous model was updated for South Africa only a year ago. Land Rover SA tells us that the new Evoque could be here by August 2015.
The 2016 model-year Range Rover Evoque will be the first Land Rover to feature full light-emitting diode adaptive headlights when it makes its global debut at the 2015 Geneva auto show on March 3.
The new headlights, says Land Rover, "provides superior night-time illumination, follow the curves of the road, and are identifiable by the distinctive headlight graphic".
Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's design director and chief creative officer, said: “Our challenge has been to enhance the Evoque without diluting its iconic design.
“The design refreshments give it an even greater presence on the road yet retain the emotional appeal that has made it so popular with more than 400 000 customers around the world.”
The new Evoque will be equipped with a new engine line-up, improved safety and convenience features and enhanced interior.
