• 90-second video show SVR’s poise
• Fastest, most powerful, Landy yet
• ‘Supreme’ high-speed handling
LONDON, England - Land Rover has released what it calls “a sensational” video of a Range Rover Sport SVR being put through its paces by chief engineer Mike Cross.
His field is vehicle integrity for Jaguar Land Rover and, JLR says, “he shows off the adjustability, poise and outstanding body control of the fastest and most powerful Land Rover yet produced”.
'ON-THE LIMIT BALANCE'
Mike explains how the SVR’s sophisticated drive train and advanced all-wheel drive chassis technology “deliver supreme high-speed handling” as he laps the Rockingham race circuit in the UK.

The blisteringly fast SVR was created by JLR’s Special Vehicle Operations team. Power comes from a five-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine capable of 412kW / 680Nm which can carry it to 100km/h in 4.5sec.
“As the video shows,” JLR says, “the Range Rover Sport SVR takes this level of performance in its stride, displaying superb on-the-limit balance, even with its comprehensive range of electronic traction and stability aids turned off.”
