LONDON, England – Jaguar has unveiled the new F-Type coupe at an exclusive event in Canary Wharf, London.
Jaguar’s new UK ambassador José Mourinho joined British stars of sport and music to celebrate the official UK launch of the F-Type coupe.
The UK debut opened with an exclusive screening of the dramatic new Jaguar ‘Rendezvous’ advert, directed by Oscar-winner Tom Hooper and starring Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston and Mark Strong - known for their 'bad boy' roles.
The advert, says the automaker, is the latest offering in Jaguar’s ‘British Villains’ campaign and made its world premiere during the coveted advertising slot in the Super Bowl XLVIII North America broadcast interval.

New F-Type Coupe is the most dynamically capable, performance-focused, production Jaguar ever, says the automaker.
The F Type R Coupe is the range topper in the model line-up with a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged engine pushing out 405kW/680Nm. It reaches 100km/h in four seconds and has a limited top speed of 300km/h.
The coupe features the automaker’s second-generation electronic active differential, says Jaguar, which works in parallel with a new torque vectoring by braking system to deliver enhanced agility and exploitable handling at the limit.
The S Coupe and Coupe models complete the range with a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine making 280kW and 250kW, reaching 100km/h in 4.8/5.1-seconds and top speeds of 275km/h/260km/h. Jaguar says all engines drive the rear wheels through an eight-speed 'Quickshift' transmission with full manual sequential control via steering paddles or the central SportShift lever
