Volkswagen is presenting a special edition of its sexy Scirocco coupe at the 2013 Johannesburg motor show - the new GTS.
Nearly 30 years ago the forefather of the GTS based on the Scirocco Mk2 came off the production line. In 2013, Volkswagen has a special edition of its sexy Scirocco at the 2013 Johannesburg International Motor Show - the new GTS.

The car's styling is a tribute to the original, including the golf-ball gear-shifter knob which had its debut in the Mk.1 Golf GTI from 1982-84 also adorned the Scirocco GTS.
The Scirocco GTS coupe will only be available with a two-litre, 155kW, turbopetrol engne and a six-speed DS gearbox. It also has red brake callipers, GTS badging, custom front and rear bumpers, body-coloured side trim, black 18” alloy rims, a sporty diffuser and the spoiler from the Scirocco R.
WIDE COLOUR CHOICE
Two broad stripes run from the bonnet to the boot and on each side is an additional stripe. Four colours are available - grey, white, red, black. If ordered in grey or white, the two broad stripes will be black and the side-mirrors and outer thin strips red. If ordered in red, the outer stripes and side-mirrors are will be white and the outer stripes black.
When ordered in black the central stripes will be white, the outer ones and external mirrors red.
The cabin is black with red stitching and GTS logos on the front backrests and mats. Metallic elements adorn the DSG shifter, audio and aircon controls, and the power-window buttons.
The Scirocco GTS package is available as an option at R19 000.
