The established range of three models, the Verso 160, 160 SX and 180 TX remains unchanged.
All however feature a revised frontal appearance with a new grille design and revised front bumper treatment that includes a spoiler. Front and rear light clusters are of a new design and a rear number plate garnish is added to round off the exterior revisions to the package.
Interior revisions include revised cloth trim for the seats and door panels, and a larger centre front armrest.
The Radio CD combination is now MP3 compatible.
On the 160 SX and 180 TX models separate temperature controls are provided for the driver and front passenger. The 180 TX specification now includes roof rails as a standard item.
Turn-by-Turn satellite navigation and leather seat facings are available as factory fitted on-cost options on all models.
Maximum power for the 1.6 litre models is 81 kW at 6 000 r/min with torque of 150 Nm at 3 800 r/min.
The 1.8 litre engine produces 95 kW at 6 000 r/min and peak torque is 170 Nm at 4 200 r/min.
The price of the base model Verso 160 is R188 500. The Verso 160 SX is priced at R210 200, while the top of the range Verso 180 TX is priced at R229 200.
Prices include VAT and a 5 year/90 000 km service plan.
