It’s an international award-winning engine and now the TwinAir is about to be installed in the Fiat 500 range - you can catch it at the 2011 Johannesburg auto show in October.
With its sporty and assertive appearance, this 500 is enhanced by black alloy rims, burnished metal effects on the fascia, front and rear mouldings, spoiler, chromed exhaust tail pipe, sports seats, black interior surround and aircon.
At two trim levels, TwinAir and TwinAir Plus, the new line-up is considered the ‘perfect Fiat 500’ not only in terms of value for money, but also in engine technology.
SMALL ENGINE, FUN TO DRIVE
The 900cc engine suits the 500’s fun-to-drive attitude, has good torque at low revs and is environmentally friendly with a CO2 emissions figure of 95g/km.
The Fiat 500 TwinAir range will come in both hatchback and convertible versions and will only be available in vibrant colours such as Pearlescent Red and Tropicalia Yellow. A special colour, Midnight Black, is available only on the TwinAir Plus model, which adds 16" black alloy rims, auto aircon, leather wheel and gearshifter, tinted glass and body-colour exterior mirrors.
