Toyota South Africa has announced the introduction of a limited edition Fierce derivative of its RAV4 compact SUV.
Based on the entry-level 2.0 GX model, the RAV 4 Fierce adds a number of accessories to the vehicle's interior and exterior.
The RAV4 range in South Africa was earlier this year updated with a host of styling changes. Added to these, Fierce includes a custom carpet set for the interior and, for the exterior, black fenders, door mouldings and nudge bar, and a "Fierce" logo on the spare wheel cover.
Its 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 112 kW at 6 000 r/min and 194 Nm of torque at 4 000 r/min, while drive to all four wheels is via a five-speed manual transmission.
Fierce is available in either silver metallic or Super White, while the interior is finished in dark grey.
The RAV “Fierce” is available in limited numbers at a cost of R308 600.
