The Swift SE’s main styling feature is its roof spoiler, while different tail light clusters and 16” alloys are further talking points.

Other distinguishing features include silver door releases and, integrated into the front bumper, a pair of fog lights.

The enhancements continue in the cabin where the Swift SE has an audio system with MP3 capability and a USB port, and an instrument panel with chromed trim.

The sport seats are also new and finished in silver fabric; a colour scheme that is echoed on the leather-wrapped steering wheel with silver stitching.

As for its firepower, the Swift SE is powered by Suzuki’s familiar 1.5 four-cylinder with variable valve timing, a number of friction reducing measures and an advanced electronic throttle control. The engine is develops 70kW/130Nm and, according to Suzuki, delivers combined fuel consumption of 5.5 litres/100km and CO2 emissions of 132g/km.

The SE is offered with a choice of five-speed manual or four-speed auto transmission.
