Subaru has announced that its BRZ concept coupe will have its world premiere at the 2011 Los Angeles auto show from November 18-27.
The car is a precursor to the Subaru BRZ which will have its production debut at the Tokyo auto show the following month.
JOINT PROJECT
It has been built around Subaru’s core technologies with a two-litre boxer engine developed specifically for the model and with the latest direct fuel-injection technology. It will drive only the rear wheels.
The BRZ is being developed as part of an on-going joint project with Toyota but production will be at Subaru’s Gunma plant in Japan from early 2012.
