Safety boost for tough Nissan 4x4

Nissan has boosted the safety credentials of its Patrol Pickup and this rough and tough 4x4 workhorse now boasts dual airbags. The mechanical components remain identical.

The Pickup comes with all-terrain suspension and features a beefy 4.2-litre TDI engine, which allows the vehicle to haul a hefty 2500kg of towed goods aboard a braked trailer. The engine produces 90 kW at 3 600 r/min and 282 Nm of torque at 2 000 r/min.

Approach and departure angles are an impressive 42- and 30-degrees respectively and loadability is generous, with a 1 150 kg payload capacity
