The guys at Volkswagen's tuning arm in Europe will be offering an interior and exterior sports for the Tiguan under the German automaker's R-line bagde.
The R-line kit features a number of sporty enhancements and equipment over the standard version but, as it won't be available in SA, we thought you'd like to know what your are missing.
The exterior kit adds styling new bumpers and body-coloured sills with matt chromed inserts. Buyers will also benifit from a R-Line roof spoiler.
Other modifications include a black textured rear diffuser, aluminium door sill plates (with R-Line logos) and another R-Line logo on the radiator grille.
In addition, the exterior sport pack offers 19" ‘Mallory’ silver alloy wheels with 255/40 tyres. The exterior pack costs the equivalent of R26 770 and will also be available in a range of new colours.
The interior kit ditches the standard seats in favour of sport seats (front) and racing covers (front and rear) with lateral supports in microfibre fabric (front). The head restraints feature an integrated R-Line logo and a multifunction steering wheel with aluminium accents and the R-Line badge. The price of the interior pack is R9 140 and the interior can be finished in leather with two colour options.
R-Line individual details: Even without the exterior or interior pack, any Tiguan may be ordered with an R-Design rear spoiler (R1630) and a ‘Titan black’ roofliner (R1960) as separate options.
