The revised NP300 Hardbody range is available in two configurations; workhorse and Hi- Rider available in Single Cab and Double Cab derivatives.

Workhorse models are available in short and long wheel base configurations with five petrol and five diesel derivatives on offer - although certain diesel derivatives only arrive later this year.

New engines

From the outset the big news is a new 2.5-litre common rail diesel engine producing 98kW at 3 600r/rmin and 304Nm at 2 000r/min joins the range. This engine features second-generation common-rail direct injection with a 1 800bar injector pressure rating and replaces 3-litre turbodiesel.

Petrol engine options see a revised 2-litre petrol now producing 84kW at 5 600r/min and offers 169Nm at 3 200r/min, while the 2.4 litre now offers 105kW at 5 600r/min and 205Nm at 3 600r/min. The 3.3-litre V6 is discontinued.

Higher spec and safety

Air conditioning resides as a standard feature on certain models in the workhorse line-up. Hardbody owners will notice a new dashboard layout, durable roof lining, vinyl floor covering and redesigned four spoke steering wheel. Hi-Rider Double Cab models now feature a six-disc CD changer.

All High-rider, single-cab 4x4 and SE models will now receive driver and passenger airbags as standard safety equipment. Halogen headlamps and side headlamp reflectors are now available on the entire line-up too.

The 'S' models will feature 15' wheels, differential lock and tubular rear bumper as standard equipment. 'SE' models air conditioning, 15' wheels, differential lock and tubular rear bumper as standard fitment. The Hi-Rider models all feature body colour over fenders and colour coded front bumpers.
