The new Outback 2.5i-S Premium Lineartronic, one of several new models to be released in South Africa in coming months, buiilds on "the versatile and capable tone set by the Outback 2.5i".

The car also has the same drive train as the 2.5i but its "urban adventurer" looks, Subaru says, point towards city-bound exploration the off-tar excursions are still part of its arsenal of capabilities.
Colour coding all-round gives the 2.5i-S a more powerful stance, emphasised by dark-painted headlight clusters and a black radiator grille with a strong chromed accent imparting power.
Alloy wheel rims finished with a gunmetal look and, the automaker says, complemented by silver roof rails.
Feature upgrades to go with the S-for-Sport badging include carbon fibre-like interior trim and sports alloy control pedals.
