Fresh face for popular VW Citi Golf
According to VW the Citi Brand has accounted for in excess of 315 000 sales since it was first introduced in 1985. VW also claims that the Citi's best sales year since introduction was 2005 - accounting for 27 900 sales.
The new upgraded Citi range offers subtle exterior changes such as a new lower grille and a redesigned rear light cluster.
The new tail light cluster design incorporates the circular theme found in some of the latest automotive design concepts.
VW also revitalised the interior and a trendy trim design has been introduced in five different colours.
The interior updates includes the introduction of a Famar Radio/CD/MP3 Player - standard on the VeloCiti and Rhythm Models and an optional feature across the rest of the Citi range.
The entry level 1.4 Chico model will now also feature a bee-sting aerial as standard.
Central locking and alarm will be available as an optional feature on the 1.4 Chico.
The suggested retail pricing on the new Citi Golf range starts at R67 780 for the Citi Chico.
