Volkswagen Eos gets a new look

2010-10-08 08:24

HEY GOOD LOOKING: The Eos gets up to speed with rest of the Volkswagen range with its adoption of the family face.

The update to the Volkswagen Eos takes the convertible's appearance from so-so to fab for 2011.

The Eos facelift is entirely cosmetic - which includes VW's new face that is being rolled out across the model line-up with a glossy black grille. The car’s rear shows off a new LED light cluster and a redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser.

Additional enhancements include a multi-function instrument panel with colour display, a dipped-beam system that automatically switches for you and the latest generation parking assistant.

VW will also introduce “cool leather” - skins treated to remain cool in hot weather by reflecting the sun’s rays - as an option on the drop-top.

The updated Eos will be shown at November’s Los Angeles auto show but it is not yet clear whether the face-lifted Eos will be sold in South Africa.
