New Be-go will become the Terious in SA
Although Daihatsu's latest baby SUV has the Be-Go name tag in the Japanese market, it will be branded as the Terios in Europe and South Africa.
The newcomer is only 3.995m long with a width of 1.7m and a height of 1.74m. It weighs only 1 190kg and comes with permanent all-wheel-drive.
According to Daihatsu, who is renowned for its quality built small cars, the new Terios' interior space is almost on par with that of bigger SUVs such as the RAV4. The new Terios also has a bootspace of 380 litres.
Under the bonnet is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder unit and Daihatsu is also developing a diesel power train.
