2004-08-18 10:08

The 2005 Citroen C5 incorporates the company's new front end design, featuring a distinctive double chevron grille. It also has new "boomerang"-styled front and rear lights. The interior of the New Look C5 has also been updated.

Another new feature on the C5 is Citroen's lane departure warning system, that alerts drivers if they drift across lanes, as well as Xenon dual function directional headlamps.

Laminated side glass reduces noise levels as well as improves security, whilst front and rear parking sensors provide audible as well as visual warnings on a multifunctional screen.

Safety is enhanced by the fitment of seven airbags, including one to protect the knee area, as well as a speed limiter and the latest generation ESP.

A choice of six powerplants will be available and it is also available with new six speed manual and automatic gearboxes.
