Audi to debut 230kW SQ5 TDI

Audi will debut a special limited edition SQ5 TDI at the 2012 Paris auto show.

The Audi SQ5 TDI is powered by a 3.0-litre bi-turbo TDI engine capable of 230kW and 650Nm between 1450 and 2,800rpm.

The engine rockets the SUV from 0-100km/h in 5.1 seconds to a governed top speed of 249km/h. The model has a claimed fuel consumption of 6 litres/100km.

LIMITED EDITION

The new model will be the German automaker's first S-model to be powered by a diesel engine.

The performance SUV will showcase new exterior and interior design compared to the standard version.

The new model sports an exclusive paint finish and as typical S model finishes such as the side mirror detailing, xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. At the rear you can spot four exhaust tailpipes.

The exclusive styling additions continue into the interior. The leather sports steering wheel and the gear lever are finished in black and white. The contrasting leather finish continues on the front and rear seats.

If you'd like to get hole of this model you will have to act fast as only 50 models will be produce and will retail in Germany for the Rand equivalent of R993 379.
