The new-look Nissan Murano makes its world debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
All-new Murano gains fresh exterior and interior designs, a raft of new technologies and an all-new platform.
New Murano's most striking attribute is its exterior design, which includes a dual panel glass sliding moonroof and a skylight above the second row of seats.
The show car's cabin includes a new foldaway cargo organizer, heated front and rear seats, a power liftgate and rearview parking camera.
The SUV will be equipped with a revised version of Nissan's 3.5-litre V6 mated with a new Xtronic CVT with Adaptive Shift Control for a more sporty driving experience.
Production versions will be available with both front- and rear-wheel drive configurations and all Muranos will come standard with Vehicle Dynamic Control and Traction Control systems.
The new-generation SUV will be available in South Africa in the first quarter of 2009.
