A good looking, exciting and environmentally friendly sports car? That can’t be right, right? Look again, Honda plans to change all the sports car rules with its OSM.
Honda's sports car of the future
The lightweight roadster is currently being displayed at the British International Motor Show and is Honda's attempt at proving that low emission cars can be attractive and fun to drive.
Named OSM (or Open Study Model), the concept for the project was "clean and dynamic". Exterior styling is a mix of curves and creases to provide definition, while the interior arrangement is more fluid with long sweeps extending from the door panels to form the frame of the instrument display.
Designed by Honda's R&D facility in Offenbach, Germany, there are no plans for the concept two-seater to enter into production, Honda says.
