As promised, Honda has used India's hotly punted Auto Expo 2010 to showcase its new budget mini car concept.
Honda shows low-cost concept
The car was developed at Honda's R&D centre in Japan and is described as a "true Honda with futuristic design and maximum cabin space".
Despite its diminutive size, the car's front-forward design lends a purposeful appearance. Honda says the car has a wide platform for a stable centre of gravity and to allow a fair degree of cabin space.
The production version should, according to the carmaker, comfortably seat a family of five.
Billed as the concept for a new small car currently being developed by Honda for India and other developing nations, Honda plans to introduce the production model in India and Thailand next year.
