Cadillac used the recent Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance to preview its next-generation SRX Crossover SUV.
The all-new SUV will be launched globally late in 2009 and will, according to its manufacturer, be a "more dynamic alternative to the luxury crossover segment".
It is expected to continue playing a key role, as was expected of the original model when it was launched in 2004, in the brand's global expansion.
Cadillac claims excellent dynamics and wet weather traction with a modern cabin designed to accommodate five passengers and their luggage.
“The next-generation SRX, along with the new CTS Sport Wagon, showcases Cadillac taking its dramatic design into new directions, particularly cars and crossovers that are the right size at the right time for today’s luxury consumers,” said Jim Taylor, Cadillac general manager.
SRX will make its motor show debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
