The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, faster, lighter and more powerful than any other car bearing the Trident insignia, will have pride of place on the automaker’s Paris auto show stand.
The two-seater was inspired by the Trofeo GranTurismo MC and race-winning GT4 models and benefits from Maserati’s various racing programmes as far as its handling and aerodynamic treatments are concerned.
While the 336kW Stradale is more powerful than the 328kW GranTurismo S on which it is based, it is also said to be more agile and to produce more downforce.
Maserati would not divulge additional performance data except to say that the latest iteration of its sports coupe would be capable of topping 300km/h.
More details are expected to be released when the car is unveiled at the show.
