COMING TO JIMS: The sporty Lexus IS350 makes its South African debut at the upcoming Johannesburg International Motor Show.
Lexus (finally) adds the sportier IS 350 to its family sedan range; the car will make its debut at October’s Johannesburg International Motor Show.

Bolstering the local IS range, which already includes the IS 250, IS 250 Convertible and the IS-F performance model, the IS 350 brings more athletic ambitions to the Lexus line-up.

The IS 350’s V6 generates 233kW and Lexus claims a 0-100km/h sprint time of 5.6sec.

As for its appearance, it shares the IS family’s bold grille and LED daytime lights with chromed exhaust tips completing the athletic look.

FOUR-STRONG: The IS 350's addition to the Lexus range takes the number of IS models in South Africa to four.

SA DEBUT

In keeping with the Lexus range, the IS350 has a high level of comfort and convenience items including satnav with voice control, Bluetooth, reversing camera, keyless entry and high-intensity discharge headlights.

Safety is the work of Lexus’ Vehicle Dynamic Integrated Management system supplemented by eight air bags.

Full technical details and pricing of the latest addition to the IS range will be made available when the IS 350 debuts at the Johannesburg show from October 8, 2011.
