Geneva, Switzerland - Wheels24's Alex Parker is attending the 2017 Geneva motor show and on Monday experienced Mercedes-Benz latest models ahead of their official debut.
The German automaker presented its X-Class bakkie concept, the facelifted GLA (which now sports a new diesel engine) and the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet.
Here are those car in the metal:
The concept X-Class “powerful adventurer” illustrates that the future X-Class will possess all the strengths of a traditional bakkie - “tough, functional, strong, and with off-road capability”.
The Stylish explorer goes a step further and shows what will distinguish the bakkie; style, sporty design and all the trimmings we’ve come to expect from a vehicle bearing the Mercedes star.
The market launch of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class in Europe is set to begin late in 2017 and it's set to arrive in South Africa in 2018.
