Compact and bold, the Volkswagen Scirocco has (finally) been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
The anticipated four seater coupe rides on a version of the Golf platform.
All models are equipped with adaptive chassis control offering three settings - comfort, normal and sport.
This is linked to a range of petrol and diesel engines, including the existing four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI and TSI offerings mated with six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG gearboxes.
Safety features are said to be prominent on Scirocco too, with six airbags, ABS with hydraulic brake assist and ESP being standard.
Inspired by the Iroc concept first seen at the 2006 Paris Motor Show, these design elements translate well in the Scirocco.
It which features deep front airdams, bold haunches and a wide rear section topped with a subtle tailgate spoiler.
The interior is equipped with a large panoramic roof for maximum airiness, while the four occupants are cosseted in individual sport seats.
