The new Mercedes M-Class will be launched at the Detroit Motor Show in 2005. It is still unrecognisable an M-Class, however, it is a sleeker looking and more refined vehicle than before.
It has also grown in size and is 4.79m long, a 15cm increase on its predecessor. The vehicle's wheelbase has grown with 10cm to 2.92m.
Mercedes has also developed a new electronic four-wheel-drive system for the car and it also comes with a range of new safety features.

All models will come with Merc's new 7G-Tronic automatic transmission.
Mercedes will only launch the M-Class AMG in 2006 and it will boast a potent 6.3.-litre V8 engine with an expected power output of about 342 kW while torque will be a whopping 600 Nm.
