Hyundai has announced it will reveal a new concept SUV at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

Called the HED-6 concept, it shows off the company's dramatic new look with its angular lines, detailed light clusters (including LED daytime running lights) and 21-inch mirror polished alloy wheels.

Styled at the manufacturer's European Design headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany (which it shares with sister carmaker Kia) the concept is said to preview Hyundai's next compact SUV. The Tucson currently fulfils that role in the Hyundai line-up.

The concept is powered by a new 130-kW, 1.6-litre GDi turbocharged engine.
