Watch out Porsche Cayman, here comes the Z4 coupe!
This super coupe is to rival the new Porsche Cayman and will go into production in 2006.
This striking hard-top Z4 takes most of its design cues from its roadster siblings and its general design is still quite aggressive. However, there is no doubt that the only aim of this new German two-seater is to be a true driver's car.
Within the engine bay lurks a longitudionally mounted straight-six conveying its power to the rear axle.
The concept car is powered by BMW's new 3.0-litre straight-six developing maximum output of 195 kW and peak torque of 315 Nm.
Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is expected to take only about 5.7 seconds, with the car's top speed limited to 250 km/h.
This sportster also comes with sophisticated suspension control systems, electrical power steering (EPS), as well as a high-performance brake system.
Furthermore the extremely stiff bodyshell will ensure great driving dynamics.
