The European version of Kia's all-new Sorento SUV, which will make its way to South Africa too, will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
The all-new Sorento is bigger than the outgoing model and will offer seven seats. The car has been given a sleeker look to bring it in line with Kia's new design language. It will also boast a more upmarket interior than before, while the Sorento now features a monocoque chassis rather than the body-on-frame structure of old.
The pick of the engine range is expected to be a new 2.2-litre diesel which will be mated to either a six-speed manual or Kia's new six-speed automatic transmission.
The new Sorento is due to go on sale in SA in the first quarter of 2010.
